Installation 2021

Retzlaff Gallery, Ashland, OR

This piece is a sonic representation of the experience of living and working in isolation during the Covid-19 pandemic. By capturing the sounds of the artists' home recorded over seven days and layering them to create an immersive soundscape, the work aims to evoke a sense of unease and recreate the feeling of confinement. The installation invites the audience to become part of the artwork by offering them a chance to be isolated within the soundscape for a personally chosen amount of time.
